Business Micros Launches New Online Ordering Package

Software specialist Business Micros has announced the launch of EvoWeb - a cost effective option for its flagship Evolution software package which enables window installers to place orders on line.

The key benefit of the package over previous similar systems is that fabricators using Evolution can purchase EvoWeb licenses from Business Micros and allow selected installers appropriate access to their server without any costly or time consuming data set up.

These installers simply use the pricing mechanism within Evolution to generate their own frame costs based on their current pricing structure and place orders on line.

 

They can specify all their frame options, product and style selection, dimensions and quantities and, in real time, they can access their net costs and glass sizes to obtain a quotation. The system then presents the installer with a full scaled drawing of the frame and allows them to place the order.

For fabricators, the system represents potentially dramatic reductions in order processing overheads, and enables them to give selected customers the online ordering facilities they require with minimal set up and operating costs.

Graeme Bailey, Sales Director at Business Micros says: ‘The real beauty of EvoWeb is that it eliminates the headache which some trade fabricators experience when they set up remote ordering for their installers. Normally, they have to purchase additional software, then pay for it to be installed at the customer's premises and deal with maintenance issues and the problems encountered if a customer decides to change supplier.

‘In contrast, EvoWeb requires no additional data set up and customers can simply be given a license number which gives them instant access for as long as they continue buying from that fabricator.’

Business Micros says EvoWeb is the latest example of the integration possibilities which exist within the Evolution suite of products, which also includes the EvoNet on-line production and administrative management software and EvoSatellite remote ordering and invoicing package.
