New Trickle Ventilators Given Airing by Avocet

Avocet Hardware has launched its new Freeflow Compact Trickle Ventilator, which conforms to the Approved Document F of the Building Regulations (England & Wales). The new compact ventilator, which has been designed by the company, is one of the smallest on the market and available in both 2000mm2 and 4000mm2 airflow.

Manufactured from UV stable PVC, they are available in four different colours namely, brilliant and warm white, dark brown for mahogany and rosewood profiles and caramel for light oak, and suit PVC, timber and aluminium profiles.

The Freeflow Compact is supplied complete with inner and outer parts and is easy to install, as the fly screen can be screwed onto the sash or frame leaving the outer casing to be easily clipped when on site. This reduces potential damage when stacking, racking and transporting frames.

The ‘inner’ vent has been designed with a flat top so that it can give a better clearance when fitting up to the plaster line, while the ‘outer’ vent has a rounded top to ensure the rain flows off.Category Manager, Stephanie Wright, is confident Avocet’s new Freeflow Compact Trickle Ventilators will prove to be extremely popular.

‘Having researched those currently available on the market we believe we have improved the design in order to assist the fabricator and installer and make it more attractive for the end user,’ she said.
