Industrial
Gas Giant Linde Joins Inagas at Glassex
Stand J125
The
presence of Linde Gas UK on the Inagas
stand at this year's Glassex brings the complete spectrum of Insulated
Glass Unit (IGU) gas filling to the event, an essential element in the
quest for ever higher Window Energy Ratings.
Linde Gas is the European market leader in industrial gases and one of
the most important suppliers in the world. With Inagas the pioneer of
IGU gas filling and testing in the UK and acknowledged market leader,
visitors to Glassex will find all the advice they need regarding IGU gas
filling, including the use of advanced gases such as oxygen, krypton and
xenon, on the Inagas stand.
The crucial issue of gas testing to ensure compliance with EN1279, which
becomes statutory in this March, is a key part of Inagas' presentation,
with non-invasive and conventional gas testers that will help companies
achieve and maintain compliance.
Whilst the onus is on IGU manufacturers to produce their products to set
standards and implement traceable testing procedures, window manufacturers
and installers should also be concerned that their IGU supplier is providing
them with products that fully comply with the regulations, particularly
when gas filled units are being specified.
How
Ready are You for BS EN1279? Take the Inagas Test at Glassex
Stand J125
From
March 1st 2007 the much discussed standard for insulated glass units BS
EN1279 will become statutory. Manufacturers of IGUs are required not only
to produce their products to closely defined specifications, but must
undertake and record a rigorous testing procedure of their products.
But
whilst the onus is on IGU manufacturers to produce their products to set
standards and implement traceable testing procedures, window manufacturers
and installers should also be concerned that their IGU supplier is providing
them with products that fully comply with the regulations, particularly
when gas filled units are being specified.
For more than 15 years Inagas has
pioneered techniques and set the standards for argon gas filling and testing.
At Glassex Inagas will show a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive
test equipment, allowing the IGU manufacturer and also glazing installers,
to confirm that the required percentage fill is being achieved consistently.
Inagas filling machines are renowned for their quality with many original
machines still in use daily. They are designed for efficiency, reliability
and ease of operation providing gas flow rates up to 180 litres per minute
with consistent accuracy. All Inagas machines combine the latest easy-to-use
control systems within proven and reliable design parameters and are the
most technically advanced gas filling machines available.
A key element of Inagas service is the company's experience and understanding
of IGU gas filling, a key element as glazing performance standards are
set to become even more demanding in the next few years.
